Description: Through our Search country teams we partner with women-led and women-serving organizations who are operating at pivotal moments—whether the closure of political space, the fresh start of negotiations, or a chance to step into leadership roles. Across Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Guatemala, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Somalia, Uzbekistan, and Yemen, in-country Search teams partner with highly localized women-led organizations unable to access donor funds through classic granting mechanisms. Coupling bespoke training modules on technical and thematic topics with small grant schemes, SHE WINS country programming elevates a new wave of women-led organizations to break through the usual funding barriers and increase the impact of the Women, Peace and Security agenda in their countries.
