The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Cambodia, through the GEF Small Grants Programme – Operational Phase 8 (SGP‑OP8), is inviting local NGOs, community-based organisations, and Indigenous Peoples’ groups to submit project proposals for funding to support community-driven environmental and sustainable-livelihood initiatives.
The focus areas of the opportunity are natural resource management, climate change adaptation, environmental sustainability, community livelihoods, biodiversity protection and preservation, land degradation and water resource management, management of hazardous chemicals and waste streams, projects in biodiversity hotspots across Cambodia and areas with a high concentration of Indigenous Peoples, and implementation across villages, communes, districts, and provinces including the Stung Siem Reap Watershed landscape and nationwide under STAR funding geographical areas.
