Description:
The SheConnects Digital Accelerator: Africa invites applications for Accelerator Round 2: Partnerships for Women's Digital Empowerment at Scale. This funding round focuses on three priority sectors where digital technologies can drive transformative change for women: health, education, and agriculture/livelihoods. This funding round seeks to support high-potential organizations that are using digital technology, strong delivery partnerships, and women-centered design to expand women's meaningful digital participation across Sub-Saharan Africa.
This RFA prioritizes digital approaches that demonstrate a clear pathway to support sector-specific outcomes including:
• improved women’s and children’s health and nutrition;
• improved household income, economic opportunity, and resilience; or,
• better educational outcomes for children and youth.
As such, competitive proposals are those that combine practical digital delivery with trusted scaling partner relationships,clear implementation pathways, and strong attention to women's realities, risks, and priorities. Proposals that use digital technologies without a credible connection to supporting sectoral outcomes in these priority areas will not be funded.
